Post-Landslide Alert Assessment series

Role & Contributions
Branding, Layout

Post-Landslide Alert Assessment (PLAA) is conducted to assess the preparedness and response of a community and Local Government Units (LGUs) before, during, and after an Alert 3 event at a PHIVOLCS-Dynaslope Project site.

These icons were integrated into the activity logo to visualize the events that trigger an Alert 3.

On demand refers to a request from the site’s local stakeholders. This may include instances such as
the reported presence of rainfall or an earthquake experienced at the Project's site.

Manifestation of movement refers to observed landslide features reported by the community within the Project's site that indicate movement aside.

Font Fiesta 2023

Role & Contributions
Branding, Digital Illustration, Layout, Motion Graphics

The creative direction of the materials for FF features what a Filipino would see in local festivities, to point out a few: bandaritas, bamboos, and the colored chicks.

To further communicate that FF is about font or type, Les developed a custom logo using fonts from various local type designers, and a minor detail in the frame imitating a selection tool in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.

Paskolta 2023

Role & Contributions
Rebranding, Event posters for online and print, Layout, Motion Graphics

Paskolta is an alternative shop for the holiday rush, HUB Make Lab organized an art market for local makers.

For the second run of Paskolta in 2023, Les retained the use of the Dangwa Typeface for the logo and intertwined a Christmas lantern or parol in between the letters to make it more Filipino.

Teaser and merchant highlights short videos to hype up the customers on what to expect at the event.

Caritas Manila

Role & Contributions
Group lead, layout, illustration, template development

For the eService-Learning program of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, this project is for the Multimedia Publishing class for Multimedia Art students. This project was done collaboratively by 5 undergraduate students for the client, Caritas Manila. We created a unique approach to call for donations and volunteer posters. The call for volunteers poster is an idea I have pitched, designed, and arranged the layout for. For the call for donations, I contributed the copy, layout, and illustration, while the concept is from my colleague, Troy De Guzman.

Escolta Sunday Fiesta 2021

Role & Contribution
Layout

Escolta Sunday Fiesta is a one-day event in the First United Building to gather people, mostly creatives, for people to appreciate and keep the culture and the heritage alive. As a volunteer at the event, I created these posters following the vibrant, clean, and chic identity of the festivity.
